Surveys

I'm one of those people who is always full of questions, so it should come as no surprise to you that I want to know what you think. Not just you, but as many people as possible...

This got completely out of hand. Thanks for all your work. I changed things so I could cope better.

The responses to the previous survey are here...

Innocence. Loss... and gain...

...and a whole new survey on 'Partners' is available here, and able to be answered more easily, and anonymously if you wish. I hope you don't, though. I like to know who's talking to me. As always, confidentiality assured.

Partners. Where, how, why...

I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Feel free to add any other comments.

Pieces of April- Movie Review

Link first. You're going to need that.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0311648/

Take a small indie film company, and throw something kinda wacky at them. Say a dysfunctional family. Really dysfunctional. Now make two of the family members oh, say... Oliver Platt and Katie Holmes. Yes, she of the recent Cruise attachment, pregnancy and Church of Scientology conversion. But this was before that, okay?

Okay, now it's Thanksgiving. That's a holiday I understand not one bit, but I like the idea just the same. For the first time since April (Katie) left the nest, she's inviting the rest of the family to Thanksgiving dinner at her apartment. Most of the things you can think of go wrong, and a few others besides. Somehow it fails to descend into slapstick, though the situation encourages it, and I for one applaud that.

Let me say I love the ending. But (and yes, I know I'm not supposed to begin sentence with 'but') I'm not telling you what happens.

Standout work from April's mother (Patricia Clarkson), and her younger sister (Allison Pill).

Director Peter Hedges wrote 'What's eating Gilbert Grape', and the screenplay for 'About a boy'. That might give you some idea what you're in for.

This is good stuff, and stands on its own, but I can't help but drag the whole thing down to my usual level by noting that the movie starts with Katie Holmes in her undies. How can that go wrong?

Stateside - Movie review

Jonathon's a Marine. Rachel's a schizophrenic. It gets better. I'm surprised how much I like this.

Jonathon Tucker, Rachel yummy Leigh Cook.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0339727/

Romance, drama, mental illness, travel, drinking, strippers... Did I mention Rachel?

This movie got a fair number of bad reviews. Fuck 'em, I say!

Love The Hard Way - Movie Review

Jack was a bad boy. A lying scumbag. A criminal with attitude. But a smart guy too. A writer. No education, no plans, no future. But a mind. He's one of those guys who lives his life on the wrong side of the tracks, and says it's for the buzz.

Claire was a serious student. A future somebody. A winner.

Inevitably, they met. If it went smoothly, then it wouldn't be a movie, would it?

I loved the setting, the acting, the camera work, the story. The music took me a while, but now I love that too.

A dark New York love story with razorblades. Happy-clappy it ain't, but I loved it. All of it.

69

you know about 69s, right?

No, not those ones. Well, kind of, I guess.

69s are erotic stories of less than, or preferably exactly sixty nine words. A short-short. A flasher's flash, so to speak.

I don't think anyone takes these things seriously, but they are a lot of fun. Well, except for the almost inevitable trimming...

So... The Tunnel

I approach the tunnel with trepidation, anticipation.
Finally entering the dark dampness, I feel bigger, stronger, pushing as hard as I am able.
The synergy between the walls and myself excite us both, the heat rising, the pulse racing, the strength convulsing me, the constriction claustrophobic.
As I near the end, the elation explodes in me, and I erupt back into the daylight.

Just another drive to the office.

or... Imprisoned Penis

I have a large black penis imprisoned in my barn.

At night, after everyone is asleep, I slink out in my nightgown and have my way with it. My wetness is impaled on its rigidity, and I weep with joy, as we jointly erupt.

It runs away afterwards with its owner, returning every night on the off-chance of a reunion.

I'm no longer certain who the real prisoner is.

Finally... Despite the heat

Despite the heat, I'm hidden completely under the bedclothes, cock in one hand, tissues in the other.

My mind alternates between two things: Not getting caught, and Cindy Smith from history class. Down by the river on the cool green grass. Naked. Horny. Hot.

Hand strokes cock, as mind strokes Cindy. Cock and Cindy erupt together, tissues catching my pulsating guilt.

Brother opens the door just late enough.

So, you got something for me? :-)

The Weight of Water

Another great movie...

Wow.

I didn't expect much from this film, but wow!

It's a murder mystery, with bizarre twists, and thought-provoking complications. It's also a look at relationships, and expectations.

I really, really liked this.

Sarah Polley (Candian) is the best part of this. She starred in 'My Life Without Me', 'Dawn of the Dead' and 'Existenz', and I loved what she did in all of those, but this is better. She has a minor but very important role in this. It's just very cool. Enough said. Sean Penn was good too, though I don't think I ever like him.

Watch it.

Steak Please

I finished a silly piece that will hopefully get you giggling...

Comment:
Does clever banter and innuendo work for you? Followed by sex? Yes?.

Quote:
His innocent smile was too much for me, and I looked down, hoping to God that I wasn't staining my skirt, or the expensive chair.

Feedback:
- Superb. Dialogue isn't something I do well, here's a good example of well done dialogue.
- I loved it! I giggled all the way through!!! :-)
- Anyway, very very well done, not my type of sex play, but certainly arousing.

Before Sunset

Movie time..

Okay, another one for you. Completely different.

Before Sunset is the story of a couple who were together for one steamy night, and then agreed to meet at a specific time and place later on. They didn't, for various reasons, and then they had no way to contact one another. Until now. It's nine years later, and the guy (Ethan Hawke) is a published writer. You can guess what his novel is about. The girl (lovely Julie Delpy) catches up with him at a book reading, and it goes from there.

Now here's the strange part. Very little actually happens. Lots and lots of stupendous dialogue, and not much else. Oh, except this is in Paris, so just standing around, or having a coffee, or walking down the street... are all beautiful.

If you'd like to listen intently, and remember some things from your past, and learn a few things about yourself (some of which you might not like), and be entertained, and laugh, cry, sympathise, get angry, love and live... well maybe this is the way. Just for the afternoon.

Oh, one more thing... Before Sunset is a sequel. A sequel to Before Sunrise, the story of that first night. I've never seen the first movie. You don't need to... but I think I have to now.

borders

I was thinking today about the wavy, stressed, uncertain line between erotica and pornography.

In terms of pictures, rather than my normal text, what would these qualify as?

Needless to see, unless you have a really interesting form of employment, these are NSFW. Okay?

I'd like to know what you think about each one, in terms of this line. I'd also like to know what you think, in general.

Yeah, they are all girls. I really DID try to find some guys though.

Mars and Venus

Attraction is automatic. Whether it's the look, or the touch, smell, sound, manner, attitude, language... Whatever, we all know what we like.

Guys, it seems are primarily driven by the visual. It matters a lot, generally, what a girl looks like. Girls don't seem to operate on such a base level, and need more, often.

Whatever, it's nice to be able to take a step back and explore what it is about something that attracts you.

This site might make you think about your visual clues from a different perspective. Hell, it's cute anyway!

Throbbing in time with the music...

Sometimes I stumble across a story that I really like, but kinda wonder whether anyone else would... This is an example, so let me know. Really.

http://www.tinynibbles.com/slamdance.html

(FF dubious taste...)

And then, if that's good, how about this, in a similar vein, but oh so different.

If you're still not offended...

Check out the rest of Tiny Nibbles, and especially the links.

Thanks for the pointer, Molly.

It continues!

Allison's Long Weekend - Part 2
Cam (C) 2005 (MF ROM)

Comment: Sometimes you just need a break.

Quote: A low moan escaped my lips and his hands massaged the breasts, lifting both closer to his face. Pulling away briefly to adjust himself, he gave equally lavish attention to the other breast. His hands wandered around my back and pulled me down on top of him. My arms straddled his head and I pushed myself lower so that we were face to face.
