I know. I know. It’s been a long time, and I haven’t been writing much at all. Real life is rather busy.

Anticipation

Many, many years ago I somehow inherited a tatty, well-read little paperback book entitled I, A Woman. It wasn’t the best written piece of literature, but it was stunning in its directness and I read it a number of times…

One of the startling pieces of the book, to me, was the location of one of the many assignations. This story is an attempt to re-imagine the place, if nothing else. There is a chance of course that memory fails me, and in fact this all happened in a different book. :-)

Perhaps it was just the weather.

He didn't kiss like a geek, or like a pervert. His lips were soft and slightly cool, dry, and very nice. He didn't seem to be in any sort of a rush, and just put his effort into kissing.

I have never sent a message to the author before... but I loved this story. I wish it had been longer, and not skipped over their second visit... but it was great.

Seems I’m always catching up…

I’ve been working on a few experiments lately.

Firstly, I had a try at managing a blog for my stories on tumblr. It was fun, but it’s such a visual medium that I don’t think stories can have much of an impact, so I’m not going to keep it up. As part of the experiment though, I also started a couple of thoroughly visual picture blogs, and reblogged some interesting images. It’s much easier to be noticed that way…

• The stories are blogged in here, mostly with links, and interspersed with found images.
• The first visual experiment relates to asses. Bums, butts, whatever. In as classy a way as I could manage, if that makes any sense at all.
• The second, more narrowly focused attempt was – randomly enough – girls with cameras. I found out later that even that narrow focus had already been taken by others much more able.

So now? I think I’ll stick with my stories group, and this blog, along with postings at SOL and ASSTR.

And try to write something…

I've been messing recently with something a little more visual than this blog, with a little less effort required...

Fifteen Months

It's been a little while...

What happened was this:

• I got busy


• I got stressed


• I got busier


• I decided that I needed to stop something I was doing

• I completely rebuilt my website at ASSTR, using CSS. Thank all the Gods that I used a database in the first place


• I simplified things
